Undecidedly So
ugh, i shouldn’t even have mentioned the earring story.

my mother is in agreement with wade over the apparent fact that men have some biological need to unscrew sink drains to retrieve earrings for their girlfriends to prove just how manly they are, despite the fact that said earring hadn’t even fallen far into the drain in the first place and that i was entirely capable of retrieving it myself and a heck of a lot faster had wade just fulfilled my simple request for a paperclip.  i could’ve fished it out in 10 seconds.  not that i didn’t appreciate his offer to help, but really, the excess trouble could’ve been avoided if he had not assumed i wanted him to be my hero in this situation and just given me the damn paperclip.  wade does so much for me already, is it really such a bad decision for me to expect to be allowed to do something myself?
my mother’s logic for this supposed fact is “you can argue God all you want, but that’s the way he created them.”
wut.
